There are five directors of the Community Interest Company but the activities of Shepton Snowdrops couldn’t happen without the support of a much larger dedicated steering group and band of volunteers. Our complementary experiences within horticulture and beyond vary tremendously but we all share a common passion for gardening, gardens and plants. Here are some of the key members of the steering group:

Christina Kennedy, CIC Director and Project Coordinator, gardener and artist.
Amanda Hirst , CIC Director and Festival Programme Coordinator, gardener, art lover and collector.
Dominic Weston, CIC Director and Poetry Competition Lead, creative writer, poet and gardener.
Ed Freely, CIC Director and Volunteer Lead, ex military with good leadership skills
Simon Edwards, CIC Director, Planting and Plant Supplies Lead, gardener with detailed knowledge of snowdrops and horticulture
Volunteers – their names are too many to mention here but we could not achieve our annual bulb planting, our February Festival nor any of the fundraising and other activities we undertake each year without them. We can never have too many volunteers and we are always looking out for more people to join us and play a part. Join us.
